The school garnered the record of 100 percent in reading proficiency and 100 percent in math proficiency based on state tests and examinations conducted. This means the basis for the recognition was the result of various examinations conducted in many high schools. The school has a total student population of 1,805 where 53 percent are white and 38 percent are Asians. The rest are black and Hispanic students.
• Pacific Collegiate Charter
  This school ranks second out of over 18,000 high schools being ranked for readiness to pursue college education. The Pacific Collegiate Charter of Santa Cruz, California also got 100 percent college readiness index.
• International Baccalaureate Program
