High Schools Students
High school students normally enrol in high schools to prepare themselves for college. This is the main reason why in other countries of the world secondary education is also called college prep. They are given lessons everyday related to subject matters in all the topics that are also discussed in college. High schools students are trained to become future leaders of the country as well as of their respective communities. Teachers would guide them to the right path of life and prepare them for their career courses which they will have to decide before they go to college.
High school students that may be enrolled in online high schools are also the same as students in traditional schools, which are experiencing great changes during their high school lives: in their physical body, in their behaviours and in their feelings. This is when they start to fall in love and start courting. This is also the time when they are taught the many responsibilities of life that they may be carrying in the future as leaders, married couple, employees, professionals, and all other responsibilities.
Though the many changes they are undergoing within their physical body and themselves they are obligated to study their lessons so that they can pass exams and graduate in private or public high schools. They should hurdle and understand the rigors in passing the subjects so that they can be called college-ready individuals. This means high school students in their four or five years of school are carrying a gargantuan task that they should achieve despite of the many challenges they face. As a result, some of them failed to carry out all the tasks at hand being high schools students – and they needed to enrol again. They have failed because they were not able to hurdle the challenges in their lives and maybe became alcoholics, made many absences, were badly influenced by friends, impregnated, drop out from school, failed in academic subjects, and failed all their attempts to finish high school. It must be noted, however, that the main purpose of sending students to high schools is to prepare them to college life.
